Ammar, known as ATF, the offlaner for Team Falcons, spoke publicly after his team's early elimination from PGL Wallachia Season 7 in Dota 2. He expressed deep disappointment with the result and took personal responsibility for the poor showing.
In his statement he said he feels awful about the outcome and believes he let down not only himself but also his teammates, the team's supporters, subscribers and viewers. He also mentioned lorenof, noting that the player will not continue with the squad because he served only as a one-tournament stand-in. ATF admitted he had wanted to avenge earlier setbacks but was unable to do so, and vowed to return without doubt.
Team Falcons failed to qualify for the playoff stage of PGL Wallachia Season 7, finishing the group stage with one victory in four matches. The result cut their run at the event short and ended their hopes of progressing further in the tournament.
The organisation used Artem 'Lorenof' Melnik as a replacement for Stanislav 'Malr1ne' Potorak, who was unable to participate due to visa problems. Lorenof's involvement was explicitly temporary, and the team confirmed he will not remain beyond this event.
PGL Wallachia Season 7 was held from March 7 to March 15 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams took part in the event, competing for a total prize pool of one million US dollars. ATF concluded by promising to come back and fight for the place the team aims to reach.
