Alexey 'Solo' Berezin voices disapproval as Team Spirit benches coach Ayrat 'Silent' Gaziev amid roster reshuffle

Russian esports player Alexey Berezin, known as Solo, publicly commented on recent changes within the Dota 2 roster of Team Spirit. He expressed dissatisfaction with the club's decision to move coach Ayrat Gaziev, better known as Silent, to the bench.

In his remarks, Solo said that Silent has left Team Spirit and described the situation as the beginning of a major restructuring for the club. He referenced earlier changes involving another staff member, implied uncertainty about the direction of the organization, and called the decision ambiguous and personally unappealing.

Solo also pointed out a broader problem in the CIS region: a scarcity of available experienced coaches. According to him, only a couple of coaches — known by the handles boolk and God — are currently free, which makes the club's choice more puzzling in his view.

He concluded his statement by asking fans and followers who they think will become the new coach, noting that the identity of the next mentor for the squad remains unknown.

Team Spirit announced the roster adjustments on January 13. The club confirmed that Ayrat Gaziev was moved to the bench and said it will name the new coach in the near future, but provided no immediate details about his successor.
