Riot Games has scheduled the full release of 2XKO for January 20, 2026. The game will be available on PC as well as on current-generation consoles, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.
2XKO is a free-to-play fighting title developed by Riot Games, the studio behind League of Legends and Valorant. The core combat is organized around two-versus-two team fights. Players can either control two characters themselves or pair up with a teammate to field a duo. The roster is drawn from the League of Legends universe, with familiar MOBA characters adapted for a close-quarters fighting format.
Riot has outlined a seasonal cadence for the game: each year will feature five seasons, with individual seasons running for roughly ten weeks. Major updates tied to those seasons are expected to introduce a new battle pass, at least one new champion and additional content to expand gameplay and progression.
The game's initial, zero season began in October 2025 when 2XKO entered early access. That early period served as the foundation for the seasonal structure and the content roadmap leading up to the full launch in January 2026.
