Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the games that will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in January. The company published the information on its official blog, outlining which titles will be added to the subscription service next month.
Subscribers of the Essential tier and all higher PlayStation Plus plans will be able to claim three games starting January 6. The lineup includes Core Keeper, a digging-oriented sandbox available on PS5 and PS4; Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, an action-platformer for PS5 and PS4; and Need for Speed Unbound, a racing arcade title for PS5. Each game can be added to a subscriber’s library beginning on that date and will remain playable while the subscription remains active.
Earlier, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed it does not plan to place major, newly released PlayStation Studios titles into PS Plus on their release day. The company said exceptions could occur but would be uncommon and generally limited to smaller independent projects, citing examples in that category such as Blue Prince.
Players interested in these January additions should add the games to their libraries after they become available to ensure access for as long as their PlayStation Plus subscription is valid.
