Capcom has updated information about its upcoming game Pragmata and announced a new release date. The company moved the launch forward from April 24 to April 17, 2026. This change was shared as part of the studio’s latest communication about the project.
Pragmata is set in the near future and follows an astronaut named Hugh and an android called Diana. The pair must survive on a lunar research station that comes under the control of an army of hostile machines, creating a tense, science-fiction survival scenario.
The game will be available on multiple platforms: PC through the Steam digital storefront, as well as on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and the Nintendo Switch 2. Capcom has confirmed these platform plans in its developer updates.
Pragmata was first announced in 2020 during the PlayStation 5 reveal. The project is being built on Capcom’s RE Engine, the in-house technology used for recent Resident Evil titles. Initially slated for a 2022 release, Pragmata’s launch has been postponed several times before the current 2026 date.
Capcom’s latest announcement reiterates the studio’s continued investment in the title and its technology, while providing a clearer timeline for players awaiting the game’s release.
