BIG EQUIPA crowned Women's Team of the Year at HLTV Awards 2025 as Mayline-Joy "ASTRA" Champliaud is named Women's Player of the Year

BIG EQUIPA have been named the best women’s Counter-Strike team of 2025 at the HLTV Awards, and their in-game leader Mayline-Joy "ASTRA" Champliaud collected the award for Women’s Player of the Year.

The organization completed a roster overhaul in August and immediately found form, claiming the ELITE FE Cup 6 title shortly after the changes. They then finished second at the Female Pro League Season 1 Finals before capping the year with a championship at ESL Impact League Season 8, defeating MIBR fe in the final.

MIBR fe finished second in the Team of the Year category, while ESL Impact League Season 7 champions FURIA fe took third place.

ASTRA began the year competing with Prototype Blaze and Zerance before joining BIG EQUIPA in August. Across her time with the team she averaged a 1.20 rating and stood out as the squad’s highest-rated player at both ELITE FE Cup 6 and the Female Pro League Season 1 Finals, despite carrying the responsibilities of the in-game leader. She closed the year by guiding BIG EQUIPA to the Impact League title.

Her teammate Wiktoria "vicu" Janicka was voted second in the Women’s Player category, with Bruna "bizinha" Marvila of FURIA fe taking third place.

The new awardees mark the end of a recent period of dominance by Imperial Valkyries and Ana "ANa" Dumbravă, who had claimed the Women’s Player and Team of the Year honors for the previous three years.
