AM have filled the final spot in their starting five by signing Can 'kyuubii' Ali, who arrives from BIG Academy. The 20-year-old had spent the previous six months in BIG's academy setup after being demoted from the main squad and has been active in the lower tiers of the European online scene.
During his recent stint in BIG's academy program, kyuubii posted an average rating of 1.14 while competing on the regional circuit. His individual track record over a larger sample includes a career Rating 1.0 of 1.00 across 734 maps, with a kills-per-round (KPR) of 0.68 and deaths-per-round (DPR) of 0.66.
In AM's English-speaking roster, kyuubii will link up with Nils 'k1to' Gruhne and Pascal 'pxsl' Schneider to form a three-player German core. The move is intended to bring national cohesion to a roster that has struggled for stability since the organisation launched in March.
The club has already used ten different players in its short existence; only k1to and Alexander 'Altekz' Givskov remain from AM's original starting lineup. Altekz, 22, holds a Rating 1.0 of 0.99 across 935 maps, with a KPR of 0.66 and DPR of 0.65. Pxsl, 22, has a Rating 1.0 of 1.00 over 25 maps, posting a KPR of 0.68 and DPR of 0.68.
AM's full current starting roster is Nils 'k1to' Gruhne (Germany), Alexander 'Altekz' Givskov (Denmark), Jonathan 'delle' Ahlstedt (Sweden), Pascal 'pxsl' Schneider (Germany) and Can 'kyuubii' Ali (Germany). Jonathan 'MusambaN1' Torrent from Spain serves as the team's coach. Individual player snapshots: k1to is 27 with a Rating 1.0 of 0.98 across 1,692 maps (KPR 0.67, DPR 0.70); delle is 21 with a Rating 1.0 of 0.95 across 291 maps (KPR 0.67, DPR 0.70). The coach is 39 years old.
On the wider scene, BIG — the organisation that runs the academy kyuubii came from — sits higher in the team rankings, while BIG Academy occupies a lower position among European development sides. AM currently hold the No. 60 spot in the VRS; with the new signing and a strong start to 2026, the organisation could push into invite contention for bigger events.
